This summer, a test-service was run, providing extra daily bus services between Baflo and Pieterburen for visitors of the SRRC and for people starting the Pieterpad- walk. The service proved to be very successful: as many as 5.000 people made use of the extra service!
Due to this success there are now extra bus services between Baflo and Pieterburen at the weekends and during school holidays. The bus service connects to the trains to and from Groningen.
Travellers can use a special 1-Euro ticket for the journey between Baflo and Pieterburen.

Timetable
In weekends and during school holidays:
Every hour, connecting to the train from Groningen Central station, which departs at 31 minutes past the hour, between 8:31 AM and 6:31 PM, and at 8:31 PM and 10:31 PM.
From Pieterburen: 26 minutes past the hour, between 8:26 AM and 6:26 PM, and at 8:26 PM and 10:26 PM.
Monday to Friday (outside school holidays):
Check the schedule on www.arriva.nl, timetable bus number 68 (lijn 68). It is also possible to make use of the Regiotaxi, which can be booked by calling 0900 " 0911 (local rate).
