Releasing seals is a hot item!

Luckily, more and more seals have become strong and healthy and are ready to be released again. Last week, we even released the 200th seal of the year. It is a singular thing for this to happen so early. The media, therefore, did not let this go unnoticed…
Live broadcast on German television

Monday, April 12th, we were shown releasing a number of seals in Terschelling on live television three times on the WRD/ARD Morning magazine. Click here to see the 06:45, 07:45 and 08:45 AM broadcast again.

Shooting for Belgian television

The same week, a team from VRT arrived to shoot the release of a couple of seals for the programme Vlaanderen Vakantieland (Flanders Holiday country). It is not yet known when the programme will air.

Don’t miss RTL 4, Koffietijd! (Coffee time) on April 26th, 10-11 AM

Thursday, Gaston (From the Postcode Lottery Street Prize) came to release “his” seal in the Dollard. Naturally, this had everything to do with the gift of one million Euros from the Postcode Lottery. Extensive footage has been shot for the programme on the 26th of April, when Lenie can be seen live in the Koffietijd studio. So make sure you don’t miss it!
