In recent weeks, many children have been devoting themselves to the SRRC. Lenie ‘t Hart opened the Florencius School in Naarden and visited the International School in The Hague. In both cases she was given a large sum to take back for the seals.
The Florencius School in Naarden is only a small school, but very stylish. To give the opening of the new building extra splendour, Lenie ’t Hart and the Utrecht football star Michel Vorm were invited for the kickoff.

And that happened on bicycles. Afterwards, the pupils had the opportunity to cycle their (sponsored) miles. And with a great result: They made at least € 2500,= for the seals and will probably raise even more later on.
The pupils of the International School in The Hague put up a good show too. Together they raised € 3000,= with a sponsored walk for the seals. The children were spellbound when Lenie came to The Hague to tell them about the seals. Three children, who had made an extra effort, were given extra attention.
