For Lenie’s 67th birthday, the SRRC Lenie ‘t Hart employees organized a special fundraising event. Lenie turned 67 last week, which means that she has been passionately devoting herself to the SRRC for 37 years. Because Lenie has been worried about the centre’s finances lately, we asked our supporters and business relations to lend a helping hand. This was done secretly, so that we were able to surprise Lenie on her birthday with a wonderful present: a check for the SRRC for no less than € 6.700,-! We would like to thank everybody who kindly participated in raising these funds. Lenie is very impressed with the help of her supporters and the many kind congratulations, which she received on her birthday. The SRRC can certainly use the money, because improvements and extensions to the centre are desperately needed, so that all the seals in need will be able to receive help.
