Ten employees from international aluminium company Alcoa, have recently done a day’s voluntary work at the SRRC, following the initiative of Lex Groenewoud, who was one of the volunteers himself. The workers from Alcoa Europe branches in Drunen and Harderwijk spent the day enthusiastically helping with the scrubbing and cleaning. By the end of the day the volunteers presented a cheque to Lenie ’t Hart for no less than $ 3.000,=, which had been donated by Alcoa. It goes without saying that we are incredibly happy with the enthusiastic efforts of these volunteers.
