The employees and guests of Accor Hotels Netherlands have raised a sum of € 5.416 for the SRRC as part of Earth Guest Day. Last Sunday, the hotels donated one euro for every hotel room they let. Also, the money raised at the yearly Dog-Walk-Day, organised by the hotel group for its employees in Scheveningen on the same day, was donated to the SRRC. Both these initiatives were part of the worldwide Earth Guest Day programme, in which Accor organisations in almost 60 countries participated. Earth Guest Day is one of the components of the sustainability programme ‘Earth Guest’ that Accor has been promoting worldwide since last year. Lenie ’t Hart happily accepted the cheque from Accor Hotel Netherlands’ operations director Remco Groenhuijzen.
