Mr G. van de Koore and his wife have been ardent supporters of SRRC Lenie ’t Hart for over twenty years. Over the years they also have adopted many seals. Recently, Mr van de Koore decided to donate a part of his unique stamp collection to the SRRC. Lenie modestly received the special gift, which had been built up over many years. It is a unique collection of stamps including many first day covers. Mr van de Koore’s collection includes stamps depicting almost every seal species in the world, with stamps from all the different countries that have seals living in their waters. Because some pictures are very fine works of graphic art, we are looking into the possibility to exhibit the collection in the near future to seal-lovers and philatelists who might be interested in the collection.
