Tuesday January 23rd, the first storm victims were ready to go home. After having stayed in rehabilitation for a couple of weeks they have lost their white baby fur completely, they are feeding themselves and have gained in weight sufficiently.
On the Noordvaarder they were taken out of their travelling boxes and soon they were well on their way to the neighbouring sandbanks where they were awaited by other seals. We hope that soon many lucky recovered seals will follow.
